Default 69 YENKO Back end Question?

Does someone know why Some Yenko Camaros have Flat Black Tail section oaround the Tail Lights and some don't? Is this something with a Specific Package on the camaro...?

My Yenko is painted the same as the car but I thought the Flat Black looked cool.

Thanks!

the flat black panel was used on factory ss 396 camaros. i dont know about the yenkos though because they were not normal built camaro since they went through copo as fleet cars. and i think the stripe is supposed to go up onto the spoiler to a point

Some are clones, some are not. Your stripe should be up to the tip of the spoiler like the others said before me.

Another vote on the spoiler stripe.
And the Yenko tail panel was body color.

From what I have researched camaroboy is right, the black panel is to designate a big block from the factory.

Yes, factory ss 396 cars got blacked out tail panels unless the car was a dark color where blacked out panels were not used. Since Yenko Camaros were not factory, mostly X-44 or plain jane Camaros, they did not recieve blacked out tail pans.
