Good job man, great accomplishment. When working like new, the headlights take about 2 seconds for both opening and closing. Yours open pretty well, but are a bit sluggish when closing. If you haven't already, lube up all the moving parts, that may help. But yeah, the important thing is that they work. Their slow speed wouldn't concern me, as long as they keep on working.
