1967 Hideaway headlights not working
New here.
I understand this problem is not unusual, but here goes...
Since I haven't gotten any responses to another question in the SS thread I posted to...I'm going to ask a question here and then I'll move to one of the other sections.
I think I'm going to buy a 67 RS/SS this weekend. I've gotten a picture of the cowl tag and the coding reads out to an RS/SS with a 350. It's not an original engine, but it's still a 350 in it. I'm going to look at it this weekend, but I've been told the hideaway headlights don't work. I alread understand the 67 has electric motors for those, but how do you repair them and how much does it usually cost?
Any info appreciated.

They're a pretty easy fix. Either clean-up the contacts or have the actual motors re-wound at the electric shop. It's usually a contacts and corrosion problem. I think you're better off with the '67 electrics than the '68 vacuums.
