My friend just bought an auto 98 4.6L Mustang GT, It would tear the doors off of your v6 camaro. No bullsh!t. This car is fast. He's got a K&N intake, Flowmasters, and we think a shift kit. Because when this thing shifts it literally kicks you back into your seat.
Mustangs arent pieces of sh*t I just don't like "most" mustang owners are cocky and arrogant. You're not going to be able to keep up with no 4.6 with a 3.8
look at the hp rateings for a 4.6 mustang....there not that great most mustangs around 98 only put out around 225-hp 4.6-liter. A stock 4.6 Mustang with a AT trans (or someone who sucks at shifting) would be a almost even race.

It's a modded 4.6L... I've driven LT-1's, Just because i drive a v6 now doesn't mean I haven't drove fast cars before.
My 86 camaro had a 400 small block with Double hump heads, cammed all that headers into true duals. it was probably 350 hp
So i know what im talking about, My brother has a 99 crown vic LX with the 4.6 sohc engine that is bone stock and I definately agree that you could keep up with him in a v6 but when he hits 60 mph the crown vic hauls *** and is up to 150 in seconds with ease.
All I was saying is that v8 has a longer torque range than your 3800II and i don't think you could keep up with a tuned & modded GT with your 3.8. You could pull on him hard and depending on how far you're racing you could beat him. I pulled hard on this 5.0 disguSTANG last night down the main street, passed him then he came back up beside me and we pulled again.not much of a race just a little fun.I can't wait to get another z28. i want 94-97 Z.

I don't know why everyone always wants to find out before hand who would win in a race. Grow some ***** and just race them. Of course whatever forum you post under, they'll support that make.

Just race and find out.
