Yep! He did look puzzled when I said, "Smallblock Chevy" and I think his response was, "So this is a small motor?"
I explained the difference between SBC and BBC engines, and he took notes, but I bet he got really confused when he got home and began typing the info up.
At least the paper coverd the show! That's half the battle!

Lol yeah you would think they would send someone with some basic Knowledge on cars.

The Austin won "Best in Class" for the Nostalgia Class! 14 cars in the class, so it was the largest single class at the show.

Thanks guys! I was surprised the Austin built in my backyard could compete with cars built on a larger budget. Most have more in paint than I have in the whole car!

 

As I can see from reading this thread, you have incredible attention to detail. So it's not surprising to me you won.
