New old project-1946 Austin gasser
Took a day off from sanding and took the '71 Camaro for a drive. It needed it, as I've only had it out a few times this year. Got a little carried away, so my 10 minute drive lasted a few hours. Lots of fun going through the gears and the weather was cooperative; cool and clear!
val if i didnt live so far away i would help you out on the body work i love it,but takes lots of patients, wich i seem to have somehow, enjoy the sanding and blocking, its just knowing how good it will look from all ur hard work.
Shot epoxy primer today! The end result is fine for primer, but I prooved to myself that I can even get runs in primer, so I wont be doing the paint myelf. Not many runs, but two spots that will need attention prior to blocking and painting.
Really smelly too! I got a real buzz going by the time I wa done. Only took a half gallon to give two good coats of primer.

Thanks a lot! I'm going to let it dry and cure for a few days now, since it's pretty cool with daytime high's around 45-48 degrees. It may shrink up some as it dries, and I want it to be good when I start the next step.
I couldn't plug in my propane pace heater after I painted becaue I was afraid of the burner and fumes in the canopy. Ran it prior to paint to warm the room up. Should be fine tomorrow, so I'll run the heat to help cure it.

Thanks! Still have a bit to do before paint, but very close!
