I can take pictures of my shorts, but you don't really want to see that!

Fortunately I also had an old bedsheet on the driver's seat!

Picked up the new balancer and water pump today, and got them installed. I made a die for my 12 ton press and pressed the dents out of the pulley. It runs true, but even after touching it up with a file, it still needs to be replaced soon. Too ugly with the damage to the back edge. Belt doesn't run on that area, but the balancer really banged it up before it exited stage left!
Have to send my MSD in for repair, so I'm putting an old ballast resistor inline on my 12v. to keep from damaging the Mallory Unilite while the MSD is out for repair.

Called MSD this morning to get estimate on repairing the 6AL box. Looks like $23-$85 to fix it, so cheaper than replacing with even a less expensive MSD box. I'm putting the old ballast resistor in to protect the Unilite distributor from voltage spikes while the MSD is out for repair.

Went for a short ride for gas today, as the expected rains didn't hit until a few minutes ago. All went extremely well. The car started a bit hard at the station, so I backed off the timing a few degrees when I got home, and now it hits right off hot or cold.
Was going to wash the dust off, but rains hit, so back in the canopy. But I did get some pics before I put it to bed! Had a neighbor follow me home from the gas station. He saw it going down the street, but didn't know I was building the Falcon, so wanted to see who owned it. Kinda funny when I pulled up and got out, he said, "I should have known it was going to your house!"

Wish the pass. side looked as good as the driver's side. I might not paint for years if it did!

Wife was heading out of town today, so didn't get much done on the Falcon. Just installed the 4 point harnesses, and nothing else. I found a place in Georgia (ASA Performance) that sells the 28 tooth gilmer pulley for the water pump separately, so ordered a new one to replace my damaged pulley.
