Default bought a 84 camaro

well 2 weeks ago i bought a 1984 Camaro Z28 with a V8 L69 305 High Output motor, 5 speed manual, Edelbrock performer RPM cam, Edelbrock 4 barrel carb, hooker headers, dynomax muffler, 3.73 posi rear end, harwood 4” fiberglass cowl hood, new fuel filter.

my brother and i are working on the car.

changed oil

the brakes pull the car to the left. replaced calipers. still have the same problem so we replaced the rubber brake line and that fixed the problem.

had an issue with the fuel draining back from the carb. i was going to replace the fuel pump but found out that the spring hose clamps weren't holding the hose on the pump well enough so fuel was leaking out of the hose when i turned the car off.

checked spark plugs and they look good.

the body is rough but my brother is good at basic body work so we are going to fix the body up and then im going to have my uncle paint it. im going gloss black with flat black flames.

pics are from the day i bought it. blew the lower radiator hose a mile from the guys house so that was the first thing i replaced. good story though.

im here to learn and ask questions and im open to suggestions.

going to fix the body work that had already been done to the car tomorrow. the putty they used is cracking so my brother and i are going to chip out the cracks and sand it down and throw some bondo back on.

i spent about 30 minutes getting the hood to fit a little better.
