Default just bought a 69 camaro!

hey guys, ive been searching around for a long time on one of these, finally found one im going to pick her up next week, its a 1969 camaro, i think it was an original V6 car, no motor, no trans, had a little damage in the rear, but i got a deal on it i think, only $4000. ill try and post pictures in a few, i need some help on where to look at buying parts and where to go for everything, i know you guys know all about it so i figure yall can help me. thanks alot

Welcome to the forum. Looks like you have a nice project and some decent work ahead of you. You said there was no engine or tranny, what are your plans? How much do you know about body work? Can you post up a picture of the trim tag, its located inside the engine bay on the firewall behind the power brake stuff. What alse do you know about the car?

yes there is no engine or tranny, me and my dad are working on the project together, we've decided the 350 ZZ4 crate motor, i wanta 4 speed muncie tranny, i have a good friend for the body work, ill post up that picture when i get some time to take it, i work 48 hours a week plus i go to school full time, i know the car has some damage to the frame, ill get some more pictures up sometime next week.

may want to see if the frame is strait,she looks to be replaced completely in the front and if it was hit hard or something?never know..

thanks big block, ill keep yall posted for sure, tommy, im not sure if she was replaced in the front, the guy showed me one spot on the frame in the rear, its been welded up a bit, we plan on takin her to a frame shop and gettin it checked out to see how good it is after we get the body off.

well congrads on the car!its only going up in value...my camaro is a true rs and was really nice when i got it in 93,they had put new quarters,interior and a few other things,i got it for $2500....It was one of the best things ive ever bought minus my house,back then it was a good deal,right now it just woulnt happen..here is mine the first day home with it..Congrad,you will be telling people what you paid in 10+ years and they wont believe you

And this is the avatar i would rather have,same house different cars...I bought my 69 z28 clone for a few item laying around the house,a used 4 wheeler i paid $700 for,a littler of rottweilers,and $1000 cash,it was mint inside and out,i sold it for $5500 and thought i made bank[:@],well now i wish i never sold it..
