i purchased a 94 camaro running pretty great... but its my NON-daily driver and well i have decided to do a all bolt on parts swap.. i ordered a optispark from summit for 249. not bad its a non vented.. 1 complaint tho you know how horrible it was finding the tool for this thing just to take off the cap.. here is the size and location where u can get it.. http://buy1.snapon.com/catalog/item....store&tool=all

that torx deep well socket will make your job easier.. i am going to do a install tonight on this sucker and any advice you guys can offer i appreciate..

the water pump is new so are the hoses. but these LT1's i dont understand why so many people hate them or say ooo no dont purchase a LT1..

welcome to the forum. the cheap sumit opti s are not the best. better to go with a gm performance or a msd. msd has a adapter that makes it vented.

Welcome to the forum. Try a search in the 4th gen tech section and you'll find too much to read it all about the opti. Do a search for all your questions, they've already been covered in the tech sections.

That carbon canister is just a pump, pumps air into exhaust and into the opti, well on the vented opti's it does. You can take it off but it'll set a code and you'll have the SES light come on and stay on unless you get it turned off in a custom tune. You won't pass emissions without it.
