i want to get my car to the 12's high or low, we run 14s now right?. i have an auto lt1.
i have a cai and a shift kit.
things im going to get are :
headers and a catback exhaust,
throttle body (bored 58mm) and bypass
what else can i get thatll do the job? a cam if so any recomendations?- wouldnt i need a cam eventualy fora 383 stroker kit ordoes ithe kit come with that already?

I wouldn't worry about the TB coolant bypass, it's going to be a big hassle and might get you 1 hp or so. You'll need some drag slicks, or in the least a good set of radials, high rpm stall, cam, PCM tune, 3.73 or 4.11 gears, that may get you close, but you'd have to have a pretty agressive cam.

 

Im running 11.30's in the 1/4 with a stock suspension, stock 83000 mile car, stock motor, trans,converter,rear with 4:10 gears out of an S-10, and et streets... with 150 shot of nitrous!
