next mods
alright so ive done all the mods i can think of that i will actually do. the car comes with loudmouth exhaust and the ram air so im not gonna put different exhaust or a cold air intake on. but i have done k&n filter, 90mm MAF, 58mm throttlebody with coolant bypassed, resonator tube plug, air control temp module, pacesetter headers, LT4 KM, brand new plugs, with MSD super conductor 8.5 wires, msd coil, msd pro billet optispark, hypertech powertune, 160 thermostat, b&m shift plus, eaton carrier with 3:73 gears, comp cams 1:6 roller rockers, 275/40 bfg KDW, royal purple synthetic tranny and differential fluid with mobil 1 in motor.. the only other mods i can think of doing is electric water pump which im not gonna do, and underdrive pulleys which i wont do either because i have a system. and im not doing a stall or nos or turbo or supercharge...yet. so basically what else could i do to get more power? adjustable fuel pressure regulator? aluminum driveshaft from a LS1 car? tranny cooler? i already know i could do a cam or heads or intake manifold or injectors but i wanna do the simplest bolt ons first.

RE: next mods
You're done with the bolt-on easy stuff. An adjustable fuel pressure regulator won't get you anything, and you're coolant bypass got you 1hp, so if you're really looking to scrounge for HP, the regulator might, just might, get you a tiny tiny bit. If you want more power, you're going to have to go internal...

RE: next mods
if you're that concerned about going fast, then sh!tcan the system, underdrive it, go w/ the electric water pump. stall converter won't make more power, it just gets you into the powerband more effectively - if you go with a smaller conv, then it will lighten up the rotating mass and free up some hp as well as spinning up faster - but be wary of overheating the tranny w/ a small diameter stall conv on a daily driver. no need to replace cam bearings unless they're shot. if you change the cam, CHANGE THE LIFTERS (cardinal rule). pushrods are reuseable if they're true. aluminum driveshaft will lighten up rotating weight, but get it balanced professionally - do not accept the factory balance on a junkyard driveshaft. injectors alone = squat. replace injectors as a means to feed an engine that needs it, not as a search for more power. remember: you can't just throw "go fast parts" in a pile and come up with a go fast car. everything has to compliment everything.
