the summit intake IS a K&N. Its like buying levi's from wal-mart or going straight to a levi factory. The big vendor has buyer power to buy parts in bulk and then sell cheaper than what the factory would sell (not that the factory CANT sell cheaper, they just dont cuz their big bucks come from selling to vendors like summit). If you buy the K&N kit from summit, you will get a gen-u-wine K&N intake that was made in the same factory as the $50+ one. they might even be brothers . dont waste money, think about copyright infringement, and ull be fine. I buy all my parts from online vendors because its cheaper
