Default 4 Link

I have a 78 Camaro with a 383 stroker making over 500 HP. I am considering turning it into a daily driver with an aftermarket T56. I would also like it to handle well and the Hotchkis TVS system caught my because of it's reasonable price from Jegs. Here's a link to the TVS system from Jegs:

I've heard from a few people that I may have to put a 4 link kit in the rear to handle the power. I most likely would not take the car down the strip. Would you recommend putting a 4 link in the rear,is it good for the street? Thanks in advance.
Also what is the difference between the big block and small block TVS systems? Are the front springs in the BB system meant to handle the heavier engine?

you won't be happy with the four link on a car you drive everyday. they kind of suck on the street, not to mention how much you are going to have to screw with it to get it pretty good

With the TVS package would I have to worry about breaking anything or would it be best to get a rear suspension package as well?
I really didn't want to go with the 4 link because I've heard they're complex thus more expensive and also due to the fact they are used on mostly drag cars.

that package looks to be pretty complete. they are known for their great swaybars but I have known of inconsistancies with their springs (mainly with the newer cars).

there are many different spring ratings. from a stock standpoint you have smallblock, heavyduty smallblock(A/C cars)/big block, big block, heavy duty BB (A/C car again)

if you talked to them, they will totally advise you to the right set-up and you can feel 100% positive that they are giving you the right advice unlike some lesser known manufacturers

Thanks for all your help 69 SS. I don't have A/C in the car so what category of spring rating would I probably fall under.
I'll contact Hotchkis and see what they say.

if you plan on actually contacting Hotchkis, they will steer you much better than I ever could
