valve springs

Default valve springs

Has anyone ever changed these with out taking the heads off, if so what tools did you use and where did you get it from. thanks ahead of time for any response.

you need an air line with the same fitting as a spark plug that way you can pump pressurized air into the cylinder to hold the valves up. youll also need a valve spring compressor and a good magnet

ok i have a valve spring compressor and air line just need to get a fitting then. thanks i wasn't sure if that would work.

ya they make lines about 15 inches long or so with the typical air line male on one side and the sparkplug threads on the other (its part of a compression gauge ive got one its pretty nice)

bc what tool name and number is that id like to have one. here is a kit for just the spring change, im sure you can get one at your local parts store Crane Cams 99474-1 Crane Cams Cylinder Head Pressurization Kit the spring compressor will need to be able to fit back there in that little space. make sure you have one thats going to work on 7 and 8 cylinders.

its just a compression gauge i got mine from autozone oem brand
