Valve springs??

Is theLT-4 hot cam functional with the stock valve springs in a 95 LT-1??

It will work with the stock rockers, but you definitely need to change springs if you go to the 1.6 rockers.

Alright thanks. Will there be a difference performance wiseif i do the whole kit and new lifters rather than just the cam?

Slightly. If anything, you will prevent heavy stress on stock components.

You'll deffinately get more out of a 1.6 roller rocker with that cam than the stock regular 1.5 rockers. You need the springs so you don't get valve float, just get the whole LT4 hotcam kit. You shouldn't have to replace the lifters since it's a full roller assembly, so I woudln't worry about them.
