1994 z automatic, car tranny is shot, i have to let off the gas for it to shift from first to second in overdrive. and i have no acceleration stregnth.....help, it is currently parked and resting

 

Has the tranny been serviced with fluid and filter? Is the fluid low? Is there any codes? Hard to tell with these tranny's with electronic controls. Could be a simple fix or a total rebuild, depending on the mileage on the tranny, how the vehicle has been driven and the past history of how well the tranny has been serviced.
