Default Starter issues

Hello I just replaced the fuel pump opti is good when I turn the starter it has a grinding and jerking sound like it is missing teeth i checked the starter and flywheel no teeth missing and it is tight to the block it turns over with this grinding sound but will not start last week befor the fuel pump issue it started and turned over very smooth but not today i am lost on this one

make sure battery has a good charge in it.

Checked the battery it was weak replaced with a new battery still the same problem it turns over and over but just will not start it has 43 psi of fuel pressure the starter sounds like it is missing teeth but checked starter and flywheel no teeth missing just will not fire off it acted like this a while back then it went away and the car starts on the first try now it is back to acting up again I am lost

Ok the car started on the first try yesterday i let it idle for about an hour as i checked everthing from end to end it seems to be doing Ok but i will keep posting with this project

i would suspect the ignition control module.
