Default Starter Issues

Got a 95 z . I can hear the solenoid click but the starter just wont turn. it did this about a week ago so i took it off and tested it and everything checked out . so i put it back in and it fired up . it left me stranded last night doing the same thing. i left work and stoped to get some gas and then it happened. could there just be a bad spot in the starter or could it be something else. I put a new battery in it a couple weeks ago.

My 95 does essentially the same thing. I can usually solve the problem by wiggling the terminals on the back of the starter, which by the way, was replaced about 3000 miles ago. The battery was done more recently. It seems like there is a plastic cap on the back of the starter housing which is not completely tight. I will try and get a picture to post. I know what you mean, I just keep expecting the thing to leave me stranded somewhere. I frequently have to roll start it.
