ok tps is .58 at idle and 4.57 at wot

i just called the prev owner to ask if he messed with the computer he said no but did say when he had the tranny serviced the said something about an accumulator piston or something could this be my problem if so is this a complete rebuild or just a part that can be swaped out

accumulator should not effect the shifts in all gears. im thinkin the valve body has issues. be best to have the tranny scanned for codes. could give a couple tranny shops a call and see what they say.

as much as i would love a 6 speed dont really wanna tackle a big project right now

ok i finaly got the car over to my buddys shop and had it checked out he took it out for a test drive checked the pressure and droped the pan to check for metal shaving (yes i had the tranny serviced while the pan was down) he said he has never seen such a clean tranny there was nothing in the pan at all and that the owner before me had it changed over to a vette setup by moving some ball valves around and changing the pressure plates and that he also had a shift kit put in and thats why it revs up a little more then it should and not to worry about it because its consistant and shifts flawlessly make sense to anyone

yes that would explain alot. you most likely have a tune on the computer as well. sounds like someone put a few bucks into it. should be a vette servo.
