ok small update. the noise has completely subsided... i think... what was it? it was connected to the engine for sure. but it may come back. maybe it broke like pete said, now i aint gotta listen to it though. any thoughts?

nope its back again. idk. mechanics say its not a lifter but it increases with the engine. ill take a damn good look get creative then update. any tips or things to look at would help. ill update when its fixed for anybody who has this issue.

ok i found it. cant believe no one even guessed right! anyway, its the fan motor going bad!!!! heart attack... however from what sounds like there is a tiny rattle underneath my dash kinda by the fire wall. its very very quiet and only does it from 1500-2000 rpms. been there as long as the fan motor thing. related? idk any guesses this time?

i have kind of a rattle like that. i found it by putting a little pressure with my hand on different places of the dash while it was doing it. mine is the dash pad on the driver side.

I like to use the STP filter, which is the same as the AC Delco (same filter, different label).

im going to start using mobile one. will the fram hurt meh engine or mess with oil pressure?
