Default rattling

i can hear a rattle from the front of the car. i can barely hear it when the hood is up. sounds like front left. its inconsistent in noise level but almost always there and sometimes significant. been doing it for a long time now, but getting worse... i think. what is it? thanks in advance.

like a piece of plastic rattling at high speeds at the very lower front of the car?

is your front air dam coming loose? there's a whole bunch of things it could be bro. i suggest you open the hood and start wiggling things around to see if anything is loose

um just because it makes less noise with the hood up...
makes me thing hinges getting worn at the pins??? are the cylinders holding the hood up on thier own?
then ... there sure is alot that is in the front that could be loose, for sure try and snug up the bumper, even jam in wedges of paper/cardboard, tape, to try and isolate the noise.
look for signs of worn paint where something shows to be rubbing for clues

Don't worry about it. Eventually whatever rattles will break, and then the noise will stop.

well idk, the oil pressure gauge just goes ape. it dances around constantly never reading accurately. sometimes the ticking or rattling isnt as loud then sometimes its quite loud.
