thought you said it was plastic? lol

i'd think if it was a sticky lifter that it would do it all the time

wham what fram filter is the bogus one? i keep forgetting. lol. last brain cell is overworked. fram makes a filter that will screw the oil pressure. if the oil pressure is dropping it will cause the lifters to clatter. a exhaust leak will also make the ticking sound.

depends on what fast is. lol. changed speed with the motor and was slow during idle. it did it once for each time that cylinder went through the compression cycle. a stock exhaust leak at the manifold may seem faster because it could do it each time for any one of the four cylinders on that side,,, or three depending on the motor.

after a drive. here is my best description. it will sound like a small piece of interior trim rattling from inside the car sometimes. sometimes i cant hear it at all. the ticking will get faster with the motor so its connected somehow. outside it sounds like a piece of plastic rattling. it will then get quiet then go then get quiet. intervals kinda. at a light i will hear the fan turn off like a clunk or something then it'll stop. then as i proceed it starts back up. again sometimes its quiet and sometimes its not so much. i noticed it was a very tiny noise at first its sorta grown a personality now it seems. i dont know what caused it. but it may have started after i did an oil change. not sure on that. i just replaced an o2 sensor that was bad. after replacing it the car ran amazing. then upon turning it off and going for another drive it seemed worse. hesitation and all. the noise can be best heard from right underneath the front of the car. sounds right near the radiator. wth is it! it does not sound like a lifter... i hope its not... if one of you guys on hear is right ill mail you 5 bucks! cash money! lol. i got 200 every Wednesday to fix it. this is my only driver for now...

if this is a lifter it is most likely not bad just sticky. could i try marvel mystery? im running mobile 1 right now. i could also try putting 14 or so oz of gasoline in the crank. i hear that works. sept this doesnt sound like a lifter to me. then again wado i know!
