Possible Oil Leak and A/c Leak question.
#11
Well Guys...Lower timing cover is leaking barely, anyways my car will be going back to the shop! (this is the second time he messed up that darn gasket...) The reason I was confused is because my a/c leak is right where the lower pressure line comes next to my a/c compressor (making the dye land and seem like the compressor was leaking). When he's replacing that gasket Again i'll have him put the new lower freon hose on too.
Thanks for the replays guys!

lower timing cover???????????
get underneath it and get dirty
My bet would be it's a seal on the timing cover

^ My thought too. And if there's a wear groove on the snout of the crank hub (where the seal rides), another new seal is likely to leak as well. Make sure the mechanic scrutinizes the hub with the utmost scrutiny!
