Default Exhaust leak,,and AC question

alright, i have an exhaust leak from the manifold because the back 2 bolts heads are broke off(thats how i bought it) and im going to fix it because i cant stand how bad it sounds, but i was wondering how much of a power loss that would cause me to have, because my car just lugs everywhere and has no get up. and my AC is broke and it unplugged completely, but the belt is still running up and around it,, and i was wondering if i take it off and dont run the belt around it if it will give it more power, and im geussing that that will make me have to get a new, smaller belt right?? it doesnt bother me to not have AC because all my cars but 1 that ive had have had no AC, but it just seems to be that it is just creating a little more un needed drag on the belt. and i plan on just removing the whole AC system,,can someone post a link if there is one, or tell me what all the AC system consist of?? thanks

A broken exhaust bolt is not going to rob power. What is the state of tune? The a/c is just freewheeling now. Not much drag at all. Dorman makes a/c delete pullies. Check out www.summitracing.com That way you use the same belt.
Is it a V6? They are not a power house you know.

what do you mean by state of tune? i might geta ac delete pulley but my belt is kinda dry rotted and cracking so i probably need a new belt anyway,,so would it be better just to get a smaller one and take of the ac pulley or get the delete pulley? and yeah its a V6 and i know there not a power house,,its just that it has no power, and when i say no power or get up, isay thatbecause i cant even keep up with the cai and exausted hondas in my town, and i cant stand a 4 banger honda pulling away from v6 chevy

As Mike said, make sure the car has recently had a good tuneup, such as new pugs, wires, new air & fuel filter, distributor cap & rotor if your car has a distributor, catalist not clogged, etc.. Depending on the year of the car, some of the V6s were pretty anemic, even at their best.
