I have almost successfully swapped an lt1 into my 94 that used to have the 3.4 in it. Well anyways, the starter will not crank when key is turned, it can be "jumped" like said in the manual by touching the leads together on the actual solenoid.Also my car is not completely asssembled by saying this i mean that the injectors are not yet installed, and neither is the intake, 02 sensors and fans. But i still do not understand why the starter will not crank?? all the lights work and the gauges start up as they should when key is on, however the radio does not work for some reason either. I am thinking myabe this could be the VATS? but it is all origional so i am not sure, I just replaced the Coil and that did not help. Please help before i spend anymore money than i have to......

 

The VATS module wants to see its matching key. or it won't bring up the start relay which sends power to the solenoid.
