Here is my list of parts, but still won't start. Fuel pump, cap, rotor, idle air control valve, relay, regulator, plugs andgaskets for the throttle body. If I dump fuel into the tbi it will start and run till the gas is gone. I can see fuel coming out of the injectors, but it still won's stay running. I am showing no codes. I am wondering if it isn't the injectors. It has the right fuel pressure. Anyone have anything like this happen to them?

 

Did you replace the fuel filter?

 

If there is proper pressure and the injectors are working, you say if you add gas it will run until its gone? So then it is getting spark, double check that fuel pressure. My only other thought is that the engine doenst have a good enough ground so that the starter isnt turning fast enough. but if you said you got it to run????????I am puzzled?????

I bet your disty is not in time enough. I just got my 86 iroc started for the first time in 2 years after rebuilding the top half of the motor and the smallest turn of the distributor determines whether it will stay running or not.

 

I got her running again. The wrong fuel pump ruined my injectors, but she is running really good again now. Thanks for all the help guys.
