Default Wow, where do I start

Hello all. I'm from Colorado and a longtime fan of Camaros and Trans Ams (Can I say that word here? lol).

Anyway, I have a 1978 Trans Am which is a restoration project, but I am looking at perhaps purchasing a late model Camaro. Actually, I am going to the Barrett Jackson auction in LasVegas this October and may purchase a car while there. I need something of quality to cruise around in while I work on my restoration (seems to take forever)

I know basically nothing about Camaros (I hardly know anything about the Trans Am I am restoring too, haha). Where is the best place on this site to get a rundown on what is good and what is considered bad when shopping for such a ride? I think Engine preferences is my biggest concern. I'd like to know for sure what engines are considered better than others.

FYI, I'm looking for something in a 67ish body style such as this

Welcome to the forum, if you got the bucks, go big or go home. Something like that is going to cost you big, add another 20% from a Barrett Jackson auction.

I guess I was just hoping there was a comprehensive website on the different Camaro options that would save me from asking stupid questions probably seen 2-3 times a week. Oh well. Thanks for the welcomes.

yea, if youre headed to BJ looking to bring something like that home then you will be spending some serious cash. especially once you pay the auction fees. Welcome to the Forum... be sure to post it when you get it home and let us know what you paid for it. only so we can compare it to what the rest of us spend on our money pits that we thought we'd save money on by building ourselves $$$$$ $ $ $ $
