I think my fuel pump is done

a good way to test the fuel pump is take a lab scope if available, jump the relay on the fuel pump so it is running, low amp probe the fuel pump. you can easily tell of the fuel pump is bad based upon this.

i too will be cutting the hole in the hatch. Those who are against it must have the shop space and tools to remove the tank.
i have a gravel driveway so the hole in hactch doesnt seem like a bad Idea.
