just curious, what did the dealer charge for a coolant flush/refill?
As for the low coolant light, mine is disconnected. Do you see those 2 oval objects above and to each side of your daughter's nose? Those are the "manual coolant sensors". You use them once per week when you lift the hood and are checking all fluid levels.
My teens all check their own fluids and 2 are daughters.
