Default camaro with delteq ignition.

i have a Z28 camaro at my shop thats been sitting for a while now and i asked my boss if we could "play" with it. upon checking the car out i saw that its got alot of work done to it. this car has the Delteq Opti-Direct system on it. the car doesnt run right, and i believe its an ignition timing issue because it backfires out of the throttle body when you try to start it, but sometimes it will start and run but i have to keep it running it hardly idles. it has a big cam, alum heads, bbk tb, BBK full length headers, and alot of other goodies. for those of you who might have the delteq system, what kind of issues did you have and what kind of advice can you offer me. i have never delt with a camaro before, but this car looks like it would be a fun project. Nick

Hopefully you don't need any parts for it, Delteq is no longer.

My 94 Formula did the exact same thing and the timing chain and gears were worn completely out
