I read some of this thread and would like to post my 2cents. Comp makes the best timing sets, the billet sets that I have used are phenomenal. The gm opti is the best and I would go with a electric h2o pump a 160 degree theromstat with the o ring from the original around it. Drill a small hole in the thermostat and you can bleed the system without running the car. The coolant system is difficult to get the air completely out of. Please call me if you need to talk in depth. 2523435779- Wiley Also, I have removed the timing cover without removing the oil pan, I kinda popped it out and resealed it without fanfare.
