ok i need help finding a replacement for my 1994v6 although i also want more power. No i am not doing a LS1 or an LT1 swap. I want a more powerful v6. I am doing this for insurance reasons btw thank.

 

So, the money you save on insurance, will be used to spend money on your car... Kind of balances out. I'm not saying swap a V8 in there, but you do realize that if you do, your VIN reflects that you have a V6 right? I've never heard of an insurance company asking to check and make sure you have what engine you say you have. They would insure it as a V6... If you want more power from the 3.4 bolt-ons help a little. If you want, you can take the heads and intake manifold off of a FWD 3400 engine, to boost power. When you do this though, the compression ratio is increased quite a bit. If you don't want it so high, you can swap out some internals to lower it a bit. If you wantto read about it, try googling 3.4 top end swap. Try a search for cams and such also.

 

I would start with a fresh shortblock and get some head work, then do the standard air intake and exhaust mods...SFC
