Default engine question

hello, i am new to these forums and camaros, i am just trying to learn about them, because right now for the money, the cheapest car i can get that can get out of its own way is this style camaro. i was just wondering if there was a certain model that came with the 350 or was it an option over the 305? thanks.

From 87 to 90 the 350 were in the IROC-Z and then the 91 and 92 year the 350 was available in the Z28. Thirdgen.org has a drivetrain list in the camaro tech area.

Default RE: engine question

Actually the IROC-Z models were available from 1985 to 1990 and they both were available with a 350 c.i.d or a 305 c.i.d. They both had options on what kind of drivetrain you wanted, you could choose from a 700R4 automatic trans. or a T-5 5-speed manual. Then in 1991 and 1992 you had the same options but these years weren't IROC-Z Camaros they were just regular Z28s.
