is that stock cube?
were running into issues because half of us are talking strokers and half are talking stock internals.

i dont see a stock internal lt1 hitting 420rwhp very easily.

Ok not to seem like a noob. But I got a quick question what is the difference of than different look between the firebird(trans am) and the camaro(z28/ss)? I know the engines are the same and are easily compatible with one another so why two machines from the same company? Is one better than the other like weight wise or proformance?

the camaro is a little bit lighter, but thats about it. this is only because pontiac was more of a "luxury" brand (believe it or not). little extra trip peices, a nicer dash, bucket seats. these things added to weight. but GM does this alot with their cars.

cavalier = sunfire
ion = cobalt
escalade (for many years)= suburban = yukon XL
G8 = caddy CTSV (i believe, they look pretty similar)
grand prix = buick regal

chrisler does it too
charger = 300c
even worse than that Im pretty sure the avenger and stratus are the same thing with different trim... thats within same make!

and ford
crown vic = lincoln town car

im sure there are plenty.

chevy has always used letter coded platforms.

were the "F-body" platform. if u go on wikipedia u can find a listing of all the platforms and what cars were on them. some have a dozen or more cars that are all essentially the same

Yeah I know that they were both F-bodies, and 'vettes are Y-body and caddys are D-body.

Well I know that chrysler made a car that looks similar to the 98+ Camaro's I hate that. I guess now that you mention it ya gm does make a lot of duplicates as well as chrysler. But I do see very few ford similar othan like the crown like you mention and saleen's.

second... http://www.elliottsportworks.com/lt1.html

lloyd doesn't even mention a 355 or 383 till the LE3 package...and my numbers were a little off...its been a while since i was on the site. 410+ is what he says for the LE2 package

Yes that is the one. But it isn't funny everything looks the same hood front lights and body. It is basically a rip off version of a 98+ Camaro.
