I know the air intake is not causing the problem,i just know I need to replace that before I can drive it much. The dist. cap has been replaced, I have new plugs ready to go in, wires are on order, fuel filter is on my desk....I just have a full tank of crappy gas and I don't want to drain it in the parking lot, but I can't really drive it to get rid of it as it dies on me while trying to accelerate. I don't want to put the new filter on and have the bad gas be bad enough to ruin that one or clog that one up too...I'll have to get it drained somehow! Hopefully these steps solve the problem. I want to drive it some before the snow comes!!!

 

AND I don't trust anyone to tow the thing and I don't want to pay a garage 1000 bucks to look around it for3 hours and then fix something I could do on my own or with some help in an hour!
