Default non-camaro issue

well just over a month ago i bought a 2002 LS Blazer. it has been running really good, but yesterday i noticed it was a little hard to start in the morning, it started up on the 3rd try after giving it a little gas.then yesterday afternoon after driving it a while, the trans started slipping after 3rd gear, like the rpms would go up and down almost like it was hesitating, i just checked the fluid in the trans and its fine, but again it was hard to start, moreso than yesterday, what do you think ? i still have a 2 yr warranty on it and it covers just about everything except the battery and tires, i just have to pay the first $100 towards the work so its not as effective unless i really need to cover something major and id really rather not take it to a shop for them to inspect it and be nothing.I wrote this a week ago, now ive let the car sit 3/4 days, i started it up today and it started and ran fine, even ran some errands with no problems, filled the tank up also. Maybe it had bad gas or old gas in the car since the car had been sitting and not driven prior to me driving it...any ideas guys ?

The previous owner was a lazy bastard and never changed the fuel filter? Hopefuly your fuel pump is not going out. But if it does $100 to fix it is real good.

yeah ill go ahead and change the fuel filter tomarrow, i never even thought about that, i was thinking it was the fuel pump or fuel pressure regulator, i always think the big things, cant forget the small things!
