Just bought an 89 Camaro..
And before I try to drive it home (1 hour drive on 70mph throughway) id like some advice.
Its been sitting for a little over a year on concrete in buffalo. Not too much rust, and wasnt in salt, so its not horrible. Fired up without hesitation, but the belt is squealing quite loudly. It goes forwards and backwards without any issues at all, nervous about possible brake issues (?) since its been sitting there.. Just want to be safe. Any ideas on how I could get the squealing to stop? Or if you think the brakes would be safe?
I picked the car up for $650, it has T-Tops, automatic transmission, 2.8L, and flawless body. Paint looks like its only a couple years old at best, and the bottom was coated with an anti rust rubber spray (Peeled a little in some areas)
Anything could help as im picking it up in the morning. Might have it towed, but will cost $100+
Thanks in advance!
