I love my car and all but I read all the posts on the internet of people saying that LT1's are crap and how LS1's are all that. I also heard that if I want to bore and stroke and do all the good stuff to my engine, I need to send it to a specialist in some other state and would cost more than any other engine. So this got me thinking, should I pull out the engine, sell it, swap it for and other engine (ex: LS1, rebuilt, etc.) and maybe keep or sell the supercharger. The thing is that the car had 5 owners, I know it's been thrashed, it has 107,XXX miles on it and the intake for the SC is make out of PVC pluming pipes (but it has a K&N filter so I know that the time for the engine is coming soon, so when I need to overhaul it, should I blow my money on the LT1 or go for a new motor? Or should I sell the motor now and buy a new motor? Maybe I just want to much....

 

Never mind. I guess I'm gunna stick with the engine improving.

 

Stick with the LT1. It improves just as well as any smallblock chevy can. It just has some minor differences.

dont waste your money on that car, with having 5 owners and all the exspence of re doing yours, it would not be a positive choice, you can step forward with the same exspence
