I have a 94 Z28, The gas guage was fine until about a month ago, When the tank is completly full, the needle is way past full. When it is near empty it will show either 1/2 or 3/4 on the guage..Any simple fixes on this? Get's old figuring fuel quanity based on milage,,,Help

 

its set way ahead, maybe the senser in the gas tank has collapsed or something, i dont really know much about that type of senser. if i had to guess, i would say the senser vibrated its way loose in the gas tank.

 

No easy fix, got to get into the fuel tank and replace the sender. While u are in there, put in a new pump, as you really don't want to revisit this.
