Default clutch Q

okay, i had a problem with my clutch a few weeks ago, it dropped to the floor while driving and i started hearing a rattling noise from underneith the car, i recently put in the garage and jacked it up ... but before i took the tranny off i decided to lay undernieth while my GF pumped the clutch... it appears that there is some pressure still in the clutch , it doesnt stick to the floor like it did before... it no longer rattles when i turn it on either... i layed undernieth and when she pumps it i can hear something in the tranny ... idk what it is, sounds normal tho.. idk what this means... what else should i check for?

The master or slave cylinder may have died, or some other parts inside the bell housing could be bad. May want to take a look and check that the slave cylinder works when someone depresses the clutch pedal.

Okay, heres an update... me and my father bled the clutch this weekend and the fluids hardley squirted out, it kinda just clumpted out, and the resevoir the fluid was dark and dirty, had alot of crap in it... we bled it then we filled it up with new fluid and still got no pedal, so we came the conclusion that its one of the clutch cylinders... i orderd a clutch master cylinder, and a bleeding kit, hopfully i can get this resolved, and i pray its not the slave cylinder becuz if it is.. then my car is going to go bye bye for awhile becuz i dont have the space nor the resources for a tranny job or to even pay a mechanic to do it..
