Uhhh... I don't know >.> I get a bit of blue smoke when I start it and it burns a bit of oil (not much, like 1L every 2500km) but that's the only real clue that there's anything wrong.

I'm following along myself- I've been thinking about whether I should build up my 305 or if I should keep it all stock, so I'm quite interested to hear what you have to say.

The heads they used (the World Products) list on Summit for $400. At a glance it does appear that you can make a 305 fast for quite a decent price- but I bet it's more complicated than that
And this one's just for my car- if I put new heads in, I would not have to replace my leaking o-rings. True or false?

I had it in last year at some point because it was running rough- I've long since forgotten exactly what they did, something about carbon build-up, but they mentioned my o-rings needed to be changed. I'd have done them then but I didn't have enough money.

most likely its the piston rings, well thats normally the cause but like cbr said it could be a whole list of things, but thats the things with cars, its not always easy to pinpoint one specific thing

*shrugs* if I knew what happened to the invoice, it'd probably say exactly what it was. I ought to be moving before it's an issue so hopefully I will find it then.
