Dude. Sooo many pro drivers race shifter karts, you ovisoly dont watch speed. Sheeesh!!! I made the topic about How much iwould street race so take a pill budd.(i wascurious). The karts i race arnt like the brigs and stratten **** you probly think. These are high performance race machines with nitrous oxide... And i KNOW theres a differnce between CARS and KARTS, im not that dumb, but im begining to thing someone is...
my xgfs dad was on a shifter kart team while we dated.. before the owner bought his son a stock car and got into nascar and dropped the kart team... Ive driven the karts, seen the races.. been in the pit.. yes they are fast, yes they are fun but its not like driving a car.. you weigh very little and they handle pretty well and are quick.. no go from that little light weight kart to a 3500lb camaro with alot more hp than you know what to do with.. like someone else said.. you are a novice CAR driver no matter what you say about your kart racing experience. What people are trying to get at is... your what 15? 16? and you are asking about street racing this camaro you plan on building that will have god knows how much hp.. not to mention you not only put your life in the other guys hands (believe me ive heard stories about people losing control and slamming into the person they are racing..) On top of that you are risking innocent peoples lives and your own. Two ricers were going at it here in washington and slammed into a mini van full of a family.. A child and the wife lost their lives.. The people who were racing messed up their car and the mini van. Along with the people in the van thepassenger died and the driver had to live with it all both financially and legally...
I remember getting my first car and thinking i was hot ****.. it was a Mustang V6 but i was akid and thought it was hell on wheels.. I also remember getting in situations where i was going too fastfor my own good. Hell i even got into those situations when i had my Z28.. These cars are fast and fun to drive its understandable.. but instead of asking how many streetraces you will get in, why not save everyone the troubleand go to the track... Lookingback i wish i hadnt done 1/2 the stupid things i did... it cost me more in gas and made my cars wear out and break downalot quicker. Now if you want to race and you dont care about how long the car lasts you or how much you spend on it both inupkeep and gas etc. then take it to the track. Alot of the guys on herebuild and race their camaros or w/e it may be but their also not 1st time drivers and these arent their only cars and understand the consequences of racing their car on or off track.

I know, everything you said is 100% right, but i already told you guys, i understand this about 5 times. I understand that a CAR is waaay heavier than a LITTLE tiny KART. I will be carefull(as i said about 5 times) and ill try to keep the racing to the track. But there is NOTHING that will stop me besides police and traffic that will stop me from racing a ricer when they pull up and start reving up there little 1.0l fart cannon. You exspect me to just..i duno, NOT race him lol.
I agree with you. I was simply just curious to know how many times i would get called up on the road. Thats it. End of story. Thanks for the concerns, i would probly commit suicide if i were to kill a family in a mini-van, theres no way i could live with that.
Again, thanks for the concern. Im going to sleep now

Well if you plan on building a fast Camaro it wont be much of a race lol. Probably beat em off the stop light and then give up when they are hardly thru the 1stintersection and ur alreadyat the next intersection.
