.... I must have missed the whole 3rd gen camaro thing... for some reason i was thinking he was talking about a 4th gen... This sounds like a kid who believes all the numbers posted on the part dealer websites... ie. CAI=15hp etc.... Either that or hes pulling an LS1s13 on us.... (Nooffense LS1s13 [8D])

You said that cam cost $100 canadian, so are you from Canada? Are you sure it wasn't 160kph you went in that Bronco? I highly doubt anyone is going to let a 15 year old inexperienced driver run a pass in a 9 sec vehicle. Yeah so you drive carts, even if they are high performance carts, around a little track. Taking a 9 sec car for a pass is a totally different thing. Honestly I think if you took a 9 sec car down the strip ***** out you would have wrecked it. I wouldn't think of taking one down the strip without some training. It took me a while to really learn andrespect the 350rwhp of my Z06.
Second I'll just say it, mayeb it's what you need to hear,your car is slow. The 305 Camaros are nothing to brag about. There are stock Hondas that would beat you. And your custom exhaust and gears ain't gonna do much for you. Instead of having street racing in mind first thing when you get your license, learn to drive like a responsible human being first. Just everyday driving takes concentration and alertness with crazy drivers like yourself out there. Then when you get your feet wet you can think about racing.

Buddy, i drive my freaking quads 160kph......... LOL!! I did get training from my uncle when i drove the bronco II 160 MPH, And made a 9 second pass, im not lieing. Its really not out of the ordinary to make a pass like that at my local strip. And iknow a stock 305 is crap! BUT for the 10th time!!! A GOODcam, Some GOOD heads and headers and intake and full exaust and 373 posi, that 305 will be fun to drive.

Im still confused as heck. Is this a car you converted to carb or is it a TBI car? Second man i have been trying to be nice but i want to see a video of this 9 second bronco @160MPH. And then i want to see videos of you going 160K on the quads. And then i want to see video of your cart racing.
As for getting that 305 up too speed just drop it. I can say that because i have owned a 85 305 truck, a 88 TBI bird and a 89 305 TBI bird that engine is probaly the least upgrade friendly you could find and will not support crap unless you plan on a total rebuild. Dont be that guy that goes out and give V8s or F-bodys a bad name because he thinks he is hot stuff and talks a lot of smack. Im not trying to flam you or act like a jack *** but a lot of the guys are being nice and holding back. Listen to them and they might teach you one or two things.
