Why the FK did they use the 305 in the circuit racing back in the 90's?!!!! Why dident they use the 350? They had a reason. I dont know it but they did. And I dident happen to film myself driving 160.

I DONT HAVE MONEY FOR A 350, IM KEEPING MY 305 OK, IM NOT SAYING 305 IS GOOD!!!! IM SAYING THAT IT WILL BE WHAT I NEED ONCE I PUT THOSE PARTS INTO IT!!!! GEEZ, LAY OFF ME. I READ UP ON THE 305 BUILD UP AND IT WAS AN 80000 MILE BLOCK, AND THEY DID WHAT IM GUNNA DO, AND MADE 325 HORSE!!. So lay off will ya? I know what im doing with my car, and im not gunna go around saying my 305 owns everyone. BECAUSE IT DOSENT AND PROBLY NEVER WILL. And i did go 160kph on my turbo Sportsman 800 polaris quad, OK smart azz. Im not Bull shatting you about anything, i dont come on here and do that ****!!! I simply come on here to learn!! And all you guys do is treat me like CRAP!!!! Its sooo annoying!! Im keeping the 305, and ill be asking questions along the way, you guys dont have to make me look bad by trying to find something ive wrote and make me look bad. OK!

 

And this car is Carb, It always was, because the engine was swaped earlier for the 305.

 

what did it have in it before ? because if it is a real z28 it either had the 350 or the dreaded 305

 

It had the "dreaded 305", But it had a meeting with a pole and had to loose its original 1987 305. Now it has a 1990 305 carb.

 

but it had to be a carb swap cause 1990 also used a throttle body and was fuel injected

 

Ask a stupid question and you will get a stupid answer. It's cool if you want to learn and I think some of us are giving you a hard time because you are young and wanting to race. We are being jerks because we don't want you to go out and kill yourself or someone else.

So tell us about this Brnco. Specs?

Sorry OP, couldn't resist. I would also like to see the specs on this quad, because I was always under the impression those things couldn't reach city-driving speeds, let alone 160 km/h

 

Ill try and get some specs on the bronco(He doesent open the hood at the track because he wants no1 to know what hes running, but hesdefinatly got a 351m.) And i saw him working on it years ago when i dident know anything about mechanics, but i remeber seeing nitrous(Witch i dident use on the track, i used straight motor)

My quad on the other hand is the best sport utility quad money can buy, its the sportsman 800 twin.(Stock rated at top speed of 100kph/70mph, And i took out out in the country roads and go top speed easy, Bout 2 weeks ago we picked up a turbo for it, Now once i hot full speed on the guage, It keeps going, so i guessed around 140-160KPH. Im going to put my GPS unit on it next time i go riding, because the gps tells how many kph your going. Then i will know its exact top speed.

 

for the price of new heads,a cam and all the other crap you want you could go and get a base 350 crate motor from gm and still have more power than your probilly ever going to get out of that poor 305.
And who lets a kid that has never drove a stick before go race there 9 second Bronco,nobody is that good there first time,and well they even let a kid drive something that fast on a track cuase thats just asking for a crash.
i also want to see some vid of this quad,kart and bronco. and why in the hell would you put a turbo on a utilaty quad,and no its not the best ever quad sorry and polaris quads do not do 70mph stock
