well, I hate to admit, but I've only been up to about 115 in mine. Guess next time Im on the back roads I'll just have to see if mine is limited to 118.. I hope not though..

If you re-program them so the speed limiter does nonot activate, and have the right gears, the 200 HP six has the power do push the car to about 133-135.

you sure about that...I've gotten mine up to the limit and it has plenty of power...

stock speed limiter is 118, a tune can adjust that

Pretty sure it would be in the mid 130s.
First, I've seen a 3.8 with slight mods (headers) top out at just under 140. Second, its a reasonable estimation. Stock LS1 SS's(about 335 actual HP) top out at 160 where they simply run out of power to push any faster - no limiter and they are not at the rev limit yet.
Top speed power is basically pretty close to cubic function of speed (takes eight times the power to go twice the speed through the air). So using 200 Hp for the six:

cube root of 335/200 = 1.187 160mph /1.187 = 135 mph

As to the car feeling like it has lots of power at 118, it should if it has another 15 mph. At higher speeds car just hit a wall as they accelerate up to just under that air-resistance speed limit. Typically, a car will run up to about 5 to 3 mph below its top speed and just stop accelerating perceptably, taking forever to get those final few mph.
