Default finally getting in gear

this isn't so much an i'd like an opinion, because i've read every topic that covers is this better than this exhaust and so forth. i have a 2001 3.8 5 speed, bone stock. im going to be adding a whisper air lid in the front, possibly one of those bottom end ram airs eventually. Pacesetter headers, high flow cat, and a magnaflow exhaust. my question is, will it all fit up properly? i know the back of the cat will need to be 2.5" or have an adapter to meet the 2.5" magna. the collector on the headers is also 2.5" i believe, so do i need an adapter to fit to a Y-pipe to connect to a 3" cat enterance? Or do i find a cat thats 2.5" on both ends and a Y-pipe that is 2.5"? i just thought i had read somewhere that its 3" enterance or the Y-pipe is that big, of course i cant find the thread now but. Thank you for helping me sort out this confusion, just wanna do things right the first time (an experienced car person is helping install it, because i know im in over my head).

3.8's, when i put my cat back on it all fit perfict. i heard if you buy like header/ direct fit cat and stuff like that its going to line up exacty where the factory stuff ends and starts. its all real simple. (direct fit) for your car is the key words if toy want simple.

sorry to revive this after its been dead for a few days but, is there one good priced place to order this all from? im trying to avoid multiple shipping costs but if its gotta be that way oh well. Ebay was good for a Catco cat, summit has everything but their cats are expensive, and for the magna i found http://www.ecrater.com/product.php?pid=571065....thats the best deal ive seen on that system. anyone else have some suggestions? ive looked at Hawks, LMPerformance and Thunderracing.

Texas-speed.com has Pacesetter Headers for $233 (that includes shipping)
