Default Shocks can’t handle new commando spoiler.

I have installed a new big commando spoiler which is really heavy. Unfortunately the shocks can’t handle it and the hatch slowly goes down and falls. I decided to replaceshocks with brand new ones but absolutely the same thing. I am sure some people have the same problem.
Please advise me something I can do to fix it.

Drill a bunch of 2" lightening holes in the spoiler. Seriously, try struts from some other car with a heavy hatch cover, such as a minivan, otherwise get a prop stick.

Yeah, but they come handy when you want to set your laundry out to dry in the open air.

THANK YOU! I've been thinking that forever! If its what you like then go with it! If you dont like it you're entitled to your opinion but no need to get harsh with others about it. I'd go with the bigger shocks like pete sugguested
