Can my zz502 handle nos?
hello i have a zz502 that is stock except for bee hive springs ,roller rockers and i put a airgap on it with a 950hp so i was wondering if and how much of a shot it could handle.. if any..ty ron
I'm not sure what kind of pistons are in Your engine. Usually an engine like that can handle a 125 shot with no problem. You could get an adjustable kit and start with the smallest setting and work up from there. Please be careful and follow the instructions exactly or You might hurt the engine.
the danger of running nos is running dry. if there isn't enough fuel for the engine to burn the cylinders will get extremely hot. if your lucky it will only toast the rings. running a wet system with a seperate dependable fuel supply is relatively safe and in my opinion the only way to go. sick
You only run a dry system on a fuel injected engine. The ZZ502 will take a 150 shot with no trouble, however I would recommend a single plane intake if you plan on spraying it, a 502 has plenty or torque so the loss by going single plane will not be missed and a dual plane tends to have uneven distribution when spaying. That or plumb a Fogger on the Air Gap and have the best of both worlds.
ok man i,m from ecuador, i reed your question and realy you can use 350 hp of NOS with out problem, but you must need install a multi port nos system, mandatory.
let me know how much NOS have at these moment?
