Heat Shield removal

Any tips on getting the heat shield off? I cannot get the bottom section to oull out there is no room. Do I need to remove something else first?

There is room just to remove it from the top but its like a puzzle so just try your best to navigate it out at different angles. Wear gloves so you dont kill your hands.
